Lafaani co-founders, Drishti and Rashmick met while pursuing a post-graduation degree in Environmental Studies and Resources Management. They’ve worked in remote water-stressed Indian villages and on sustainable agricultural and zero-waste projects, a green past that’s sewn into the hems and whispered into the pockets of the responsibly-made clothing they Create at Lafaani. Following a master’s degree in sustainability, Drishti began a three-year long journey to experience and understand the elemental truth of fashion, its process, supply chains, the business behind it and of course, the environmental and social impact.
